    had my service at a local garage and it said my front right coil spring is contort at the top bit. I went to a main dealer had a quick checkk and the guy cannot find any problem. Then I went back to the local garage, it still saying it is kind of contort at the top bit and need replacement..... really dont know if I should chage it or not. .... any help, please?

    I would go with the advise of the official Volkswagen dealer, it may be that the spring is made that way.

    May be worth seeing if a dealer has a spring in stock, and having a look at it to compare it with the one fitted.

    the local garage i went is a independent dealer specialise in vw and audi. And they said it is just the top of the coil spring is not in the right shape (the fualt seems very very small...)and will damage the whole chain soon, and need a replacement

    The main dealer I went, coz i did not book in, the guy there just lift the car and had a quick check.

    so, i m really confused....
