    Default Where is the diagnostic port – 28-01-2008,07:14 PM
    I am having trouble locating the diagnostic port on my 2000 X reg audi A4 1.8 SE. Any ideas?
    Silver A4 1.8SE 2000 X reg. Simple but clean

    Hi, its where the rear ashtray is, under a cover... Lift the flap and you should see the purple conector !

    Thanks for the help. It is as suggested inside the rear ashtray. If you flip up the ashtray there is a diagrame of the warning light on a small plastic cover. This slides to give access to a bright purple port. Ideal
    Silver A4 1.8SE 2000 X reg. Simple but clean
