How do I change my thermostat in my 2002 Audi A4?

just had mine replaced, it is a tricky job,
no problem for a good mechanic though,
make sure you change the whole thing, housing as well,
as it contains another sensor,as if there was;nt enough of them,
once changed all underheating problems should be solved, mine were.

Thanks for the help. Turns out it was my waterpump that needed replacing - my thermostat was fine...

Hi, sorry dont mean to crash this post but what do you mean by 'all underheating problems'?

the problem im having is if i turn my climate control to normal temp 21oC i get cold air unless i turn it up to 24oC which gives me perfect cabin temp.

good, hope you had a good look at old water pump.

if engine does not run at 90 degrees air con temps will be affected
