First post, be gentle with me! After years of dreaming I have stumped up the cash for a Golf, although I did have a Mk II years ago! Car will be with me early March all being well, I have gone for a 140 GT Sport. I've searched other threads but not really found the answer I'm looking for so here goes, to be honest, I'm not even sure I've got the right forum?

What options have I got regards to chipping and re-mapping? From what I understand a chip over-fuels so has it's problems whereas a re-map gives better performance, fuel economy but is more expensive. Can someone enlighten me on the subject please?

I'm located in south Lincs/Peterborough area, any one know a good place to take the car to get the work done?
