    Hi Guys,

    I've been lurking on this site for a while and it is a wealth of info. My first question on here was about the plug in chips available....I can understand why this drew a blank as they are/seem to be untrustworthy.

    Re-mapping is the answer but I was put off by a pal saying it will put new stresses on the turbo (runs alot hotter) and shorten the life of the engine etc...
    I do need the car for work (over 30k miles a year) and I want to know wether its worth the risk just for 35hp?

    Sounds good but is the 'cost to value' worth it in the long run?
    The car already has over 110000 miles on the clock and its been a faithful servant and I dont want to temp fate.

    Should I or shouldn't I? - this is my dilemma.
