well, the worst that can hapen is they **** up your car. seriously though, havnt heard ofthem before and spend alot of time on forums for renault, vag and retro. go to there workshop and have a look around, maybe see some of their work. if they are good they will happily show off there handy work. in my opinion.

He is very good with high performance stuff and full blown blow your socks off mods.

I had a turbo fault on a passat petrol a few years ago, main dealer said new turbo. Alan had a look at fixed it for Parts plus labour, labour was 1 hour parts £12.

He does alot of import (Skylines etc) and I think Rally prep.

My experience is that he not the most amiable of people, but if you ask him a direct question he will give you a direct answer, which is refreshing!

I now he does alot of remapping work, ask him if that is the best answer or whether a remap plus some other mod is best.

I live about 2 miles from his place and asked him to do me a remap. He just wanted to do a SuperChips chip for £450. Bit steep considering you could get it remapped on 10/02/08 for £250 in Bromsgrove, despite the trek.

Can't vouch for him either way.

Have you come across Celtic Tuning in Newquay? There'll come to you for circa £300 and remap. However, can't vouch for these guys either, especially as I left two telephone messages which they never returned.

Celtic Tuning re-mapped my passat tdi 130 in December, I'm well happy with it. Have you tried emailing them?
