what sort of power gains are we talking about if the car was the get chipped/remapped?

    Hi

If it's the K03s Version then you'll be looking at about 210hp and 245lbft after the map. The K03 will be slightly under at 200hp MAX and 215lbft.

    Cheers

    Paul

    Dear all,

I'm new to the forum, so please be gentle!

I have a 52 plate 1.8t and would really like to get it remapped. I'm a total novice, so is there a guide on here anywhere as to where I should start?

I'm in the Reading/Bracknell area, and don't really want to have to travel hundreds of miles!

    Many thanks,

    Oli

When re-mapping any 1.8t change the DV there very week piont on the car. Also you will get better power and responce if you also run better fuel on a mapped car..

Why travel at all when you can do it all from the comfort of your home with the STS unit! See https://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/s...d.php?p=426358 and https://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/s...372#post433372 for more information.
