Wiper Motor Problem

Hi folks,

Just bought a new front wiper motor for my Golf and I'm having a little problem. The arm on the new motor is pointing to the left when in the rest position (as shown in pic below) whereas the old motor pointed to the right. The arm needs to point to the right or the wipers won't work correctly. Does anyone know how to change the arm around so its pointing right? If you just manually move it, it returns to the original position once the power is reconnected. Loosening the nut on top of the arm also doesn't allow the arm to be turned. Help!!

hi you can take the nut off pull arm off turn 180 refit should fix it
