    Hi anybody know where i can obtain abs rings to go the wheel hubs or cv joints of my Sharan , VW say you have to replcae the whole CV joint, but its just a ring of steel with notchs pressed on to the hubs, not part of the joint or hub ??

    unfortunately vw are right on this one it is part of the joint, look on fleabay at item no 260111329085, i bought one of these so far ok

    Hi Andy e thanks for that VW wanted £130 each exchange , my CV's are fine its just the ABS rings are knackered

    mine was as well, but mine when it broke took out the sensor as well,23 quid of flea bay for a new sensor, put new joint on, new sensor, cleared fault codes, abs now working again,sorted check your sensors, when the ring breaks it usually takes out the sensor as well, there isn't a great deal of clearance between sensor and ring

    Hi andy I've ordered the CV'S , just wondering when i've fitted them , how do you clear the faults are they memorised , or do they automatically go ?, have you a link also for the abs sensors just incase ?

    faults are held on ecu you need to find local garage who will clear faults for you try this item no on fleabay
