Golf MK4 starter Motor Number – 21-01-2008,09:28 PM

Hi all, I have recently bought a T reg 1.8GTI 125bhp (the none turbo verson) and I need to get a new starter motor. I have been told there are 3 variations. Does anyone know which one to get without taking the old one off?
