LOSS OF POWER a4 2.5tdi!!!!!

Hello people and im glad i found this forum, as you all seem to know your stuff. Anyway i drive a 2.5 tdi A4 and the car was running fine this morning when i took it to work. Anyway i popped into the shop, headed up the road and i felt the car was sluggish. Obviously something went wrong.
It hits about 3500rpm and then the turbo kicks in whereas before it was response straight away. I checked the air filter and just blew it out to make sure, to no avail. I am not that up on cars, except the servicing part and would appreciate if anyone could give me a few ideas of what the problem might be. Someone has told me it could be the airflow meter or dirty diesel, blocking the injectors. Cheers lads....

Check for splits in the pipes. Searching on here should turn up a few more possibilities.
