    Hi
This last week I've had a faulty lock on the drivers door. It has been very stiff and hard to turn. Now the lock just spins without locking or unlocking. This is not my main problem and i presume a new barrel will be required is this the only way to fix this?

My main problem is since the lock problem, the front passenger window now seems to have a mind of its own. It opens itself when i'm not in the car and the engine is off, ie in the middle of the night. I come to my car in the morning and everything is soaked.
Can you please help me with this problem?
    Thanks
    Matt

Sounds like the door controller is acting up.

You will need to strip down the door and check its connections (wiring etc) and make sure they are all okay.

    Welcome to the forum.

You dont have a fault with your windows, its the lock. PM me for more details as I dont want to post it on here.

Have you got remote central locking, if so I delock the car.

Delock kits can be bought from ebay cheap enough, i have fitted one to mine.

    See here for more details:

Once the barrel is out all should be good again.
