Hey there guys, this is my first post by the way..

I'm 17 and have bought a 1.4l '93 Mk3 Golf (hence posting in this section), one of the mods I have added is a Pipercross induction kit. My boss at work (Sat. job) warned me that the cold air passing over the carb will cause ice crystals to form and hence a complete loss of power etc. And this has occurred a couple of times now. I have strapped the cold air feed that came with the kit to the outlet tube on-top of the exhaust manifold cover and generally strapped the other end right next to the induction kit, but this does not always keep the inflowing air warm enough. Was just wondering if anyone else has fitted an induction kit to theirs and found the same problem..and if so, how you corrected it?
