Main bits are:
certain participating VW Dealers will price match service, maintenace and repair quotes from independants.

Must be a written quote, from a VAT registered garage, no more than 5 miles away from the VW dealer, that will carry out the said work to the same standard and must quote that they use Original VW parts.

Offer runs until 31/12/2008

I reckon the VW speacialists and other indies will probably be aware of this and may be reluctant to provide a written quote if they know they're not going to get the business anyway.
