hi guys, maybe this has been covered before... but can anyone point me in the right direction for equipment and files to re flash ecu with modded maps. i really want to get into this and learn more, i have seen some flashers, like a playstation portable, touch screen.. has anyone used these, are they easy to use?.. do they come with maps, do you have to download ecu, then edit maps your self? i also like the idea of the bluefin, just plug and prog, but unit is 600... quite expensive for just one vehicle tuning. i am looking for plug and play, which covers as many makes and models... if anyone has more info, links or even a tutorial i would really appreciate it...

    thanks for looking...

My advice is dont ever use ebay maps.

    Dont buy cheap copied tools

Get some insurance for when you kill and ecu

and dont attempt to "tune" a file yourself.

If you were wanting to get into tuning many compnies can offer you a dealership with full support and a good price on tools and files.
