Hi all the drivers side door has just started to drop on my 1996 3 door GTI as the hinge or hinge pins have started to wear I think thats the problem.
What I was wondering are the hinge pins replaceable? lie on peugeot 205's Or can can the hinges be replaced? or is it just a case or adjusting the hinges?

Any help would be great Cheers Neil

Did you get a resolution to this... I'm trying to fix a MKIII that I recently bought as a run-about and appreciate any pointers in the right direction.
