USB adapter

When my passat was delivered with sat nav and VW sound, I was disappointed to discover it woud onlky play cd if you take the sat nav dvd out, and it wouldn't play mp3's at all. This contrary to the sales man's advice. (of course that sales man left the company between my ordering and the car bein delivered)

I since added the USB adaptor (suggested by one of the technical staff who over heard my ranting and raving in the show room) which fits neatly in an extra compartment in the glove box.

It will recognise 6 folders and list them as cd's on the display and numerous subfolders giving you endless music (currently I have a 4 gb stick).

Is there any way of configuring the unit though to see the tag information rather than track x on the display?

Like wise with the radio unit, when the station emits addidtional rds info such as the artist or title, can this be displayed?

I didn't know you got artist details over RDS - I thought you only got that with DAB....

Certain radio stations do transmit additional details (dial in Nos, programme details etc) on the FM band....but I've only ever had one car that offered this feature.
