Continuous 0.4 amp drain from battery. Drain reduced if fuse 14 removed-controls windows ,remote central locking, interior lights etc.
At vw dealer now and they cannot locate fault. 12 months ago same dealer dried car out ,replaced carpets and repaired some wiring to cci unit. They have checked this again and say it is ok. Any ideas?

    Hi Francophile - welcome.

You should post this on the Passat B5 forum - you're in the B6 - they might be better placed to help.

Seems like a convenience unit problem. Lift up the passenger’s carpet and pull out the convenience unit. Disconnect the earth lead to the connection stud on the floor and see if the drain goes away.
