Hi I need to have new brake pads and discs front and rear on my VW Bora I was just wondering if I did this myself whether or not it is complicated to do or should I play it safe and take it to a garage? If I do take it to a grage what would by a resonable sum to pay including parts & labour?

Easy job to do, use this guide:
    http://www.passatworld.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=179518

I had never tackled my brakes before, but did the whole car in about 3 hours. All discs and pads.

You will need a piston wind back tool for the rears and a 7mm Allen Key.

    Skoda wanted £550.

Done myself for £180 with Mintex parts from ebay.
    Just another B7 Estate
