I've bought a Nokia bluetooth kit from ebay with an A4 loom. I've had my head unit out and it all appears to fit.

What I need advice on, is installing the nokia button and microphone.

    Questions:

    1) Where do you recomend the placement of button and microphone
    2) How do you route the wires neatly?

    Cheers

    G

Placed my button on the lower left of the air-con unit close to edge that just pulls out.Cant see the wire at all and the unit slips back in perfect.
Mic runs to interior light, under dash and up the the pillar panel and then across the roof behind cloth.
Better at the light than the window as it will pick up wind noise at the window.

    Hope this helps

    Ok,

That sounds good. Thankyou. Now the next question. How do you get the mic wire up the pillar and in the roof lining? How does the air con unit come out?

    Cheers

I just started at the top, stuck on the mic then pushed the wire in the back of the cloth along the top of the window with my finger.

Next is down the pillar.I didnt take off the pillar cover,I just ran the wire all the way through to the door seal(with the door open of course).I used a cable tie ziped to the end of the wire here and just pulled the pillar cover out enough to see what i was doing. You should be able to see the airbag in there. When it was through i just fed the wire down the pillar between the door seal and pillar cover, inch by inch.

Take the cover off if you think its easier theres a screw in the visor and im sure its just popped in down the pillar but i was just to lazy to take it off.

The air con unit just pulls out if you grab it at the bottom above the ash try,no screws here or popper clips.

    best of luck
