    Question Buying Used Bora – 05-01-2008,12:38 PM
    Hi are thinking of purchasing a Bora 115 pd tdi with aprox 120,000 on the clock anything I need to look out for when checking the car over.

    Also whats the engine life like on these, car has been remapped

    I've got a Y reg 115bhp and i had problems with the ABS, (Poss a 1 off fault) but the main was a coolant problem. (still got it!) take the car for a "rag" then drive slow (town driving) and see if it overheats. If it does AVOID!

    make sure you drive it cold from the start and check whether there are any misfiring issues, i got snapped for that.
