Unlock (NOT )

I have an Octavia 1.9TDi Est Elegance ( 51 Plate ). The problem I have is with the central locking, It was Fine on Saturday eveneing when I locked it and then on Sunday when going out I Pressed the ulock button on the fob, it makes the noise and the drivers side button pops up and then the car locks itself again. I then try to unlock it again it makes the noise but the button does not popup. I then lock the door and then press the lock button on the fob again, then I have to press the open button and open the door quick. Also If the engine is running and I press the button on the door console to lock all doors the doors lock fine, if I then press the open button the doors unlock and then lock again. Very strange, If anyone can help,

Sounds like a mechanical issue in the door, bit like if you unlock and are trying to open the door at the same time. Of course a fault code scan should also be done, just in case there is a fault detected.
