My sons 1.4 cl golfs oil light and warning buzzer came on, he overfilled it with oil, he didnt check beforehand, since then it is making a rattling noise from the top end and light still comes on, where is the oil pressure switch located and could the oil pump be at fault? Is the sump easy to remove without dismantling half the car!!! Any ideas would be most welcombe thank you

I recently had to replace the oil pressure switch on my Golf Gti - it was very easy and accessible - kinda noggin type thing on top of the oil filter.

    (dead technical, me)
