I recently had to replace the white plastic clip and pedal switch clip on the clutch of my VW Bora 2L Sport X reg after these snapped off whilst travelling. Since the replacement, the clutch pedal is raised higher than the brake pedal with no means of adjustment. I noticed that the housing/metal plate that the clutch pedal rests against has a hole which suggests space for a "stopper" that the clutch pedal could rest against thus keeping it level with the brake pedal. Is this correct and if so, does anyone know the part required? Alternatively please advise if there is a means of adjusting.
    Thanks

Hi I think you need to have a look were the master cylinder operating rod fits into the pedal i fancy this is not located properly, hence the high pedal.

The little white clip you put in has a small round resess for the ball of the piston rod. If the ball is not sat in this the pedal will be raised. I have just had the same happen to me!

Is the little box section in the pedal (where the white plastic box clip slides into) open at the back?
