    Hi Gang!

I have an old ('96) A8 and am thinking of flipping it for an A6 Avant (£5K-£7K). The Avant will be a family car but we already have an old Golf GTI as a shopping trolley.

It prolly makes sense to get a Diesel (there, I've said it). The kids toys are getting to big for the boot in our 8. The 8's boot looks about the same spread as the Avants boot, but obviously the Avant has the height.

    What's the coup wi'these 6's then?

    Fanx,

    Sneaky

Ive just bought one on an X plate 110tdi and it does everything it should. It is better on motorways than around town with it been 110modle. Im wanting to get an economy remap on it and it should give it enough power to beable to tootle around town without having to use lower gears and higher revs.
For the money you are looking you will beable to get a 130bhp which should be enough. When i was looking i wanted a big boot and these are about as big as you get for audi/vw sort of cars. I have no regrets and mine has done 144,000 miles and feels as good as it proberbly did when it was new.
