    And front wheel driven cars depend on the front wheels to start, to stop, to accelerate and decellerate. Funilly enough they also depend on the front tyres to corner propely in every day life conditions...

    With all this, I will continue to swap the tyres on my car and put new ones at the front old ones at the back and let the experts talk rubbish.

    well thanks for all your input will get some prices and weigh it up my fronts definately wear faster than rear even though its 4wd so will change them rund as advised by some of you thanks again ... bear

    has no one thought that maybe the reason why the front tyres on a 4wd wear more on the front is due to the weight of the engine. or am i missing something?
