Buying / leasing a car

Hi All,
I'm interested in finally getting a decent car and considering something along the lines of a Chrysler 300C Touring or maybe a BMW 530d Touring. Does anyone have any experience of car leasing companies? Is it worth it, or would you just buy one?

It depends on lots of factors.

Lease = No risk but expensive, especially if you go over the agreed and set milage and don't forget you'll usually be tied in for 3 years minimum.

Buy = Slightly cheaper but your going to take the massive initial defreciation hit, better if you intend to either keep it or quickly sell it on.

The crux is the milage you do and how long you plan to keep the car. If you do to few miles or two many miles then the lease is not the way. You need to get as near to the agreed and set annual milage as possible to make this cost effective.

There is really is no answer. You need to set it all out and do some sums. However when it comes to cars quite often the "I want" devil in your head takes over, it does with me.
