    Hi there,

I have had a few pairs of these in the past before the HID's. These were the best bulbs by far i have had..

The ones i got were Philips Blue Vison + (H7).. with 501 sidelights.

    see link below..

I fitted this kit to my Bike a few weeks ago after I bought some expensive Philips Power 2 Night bulbs for £40. After a Philips bulb blew (not good on a bike in the dark) after 5 months I got the HID kit from Diane shop for a few quid extra over the Philips bulbs and they are good!!

I have the Turbo revs kit on my Audi. The very slight disadvantage to the Diane shop HIDs is I find once turned on they take a little longer to get upto temp/colour compared to the Turbo revs kit.

Was thinking about a set of HIDs myself as have had them on previous cars, £42 sounds excellent value, where the instructions idiot proof and did you have to dismantle front of the car to fit?

Also can anyone tell me what the difference is between the normal HID and Bi HIDs is it that you get hi and low beam on the Bi?

    Cheers

They were very simple as I used the excellent guide from the forum to take the headlights out.
The rear cover that you would open to change the bulbs needs a 25mm hole cut in to allow the wiring for the HID bulb to pass through and that is about the most difficult job.
In all it took me about 1.5 hours and 40 mins of that was dismantling the undertray to get my torx bit back after I dropped it

I had the attitude that for all the kit cost it wasn't a complete disaster if it didn't work and I can honestly say it was totally the opposite.

I was a little worried about the wiring for the ballasts etc but it is fairly idiot-proof. There is only one way it all fits together.

In relation to the Bi-Xenons you don't need them. They are for cars with a single bulb for dip and main beam.

In case you are wondering I am not Chinese or related to the seller in any way. I just like a bargain when I see it. BTW I bought one of his US Dollar listings so I saved a little more with the exchange rate

    Hi,
I had the standard bulbs on my avant and the dipped beam was pretty dire! I have just changed them cos I was i n ********* and they were doing a two for one deal on their range of super brilliance xenon gas bulbs. Ive fitted them and they are noticeably brighter and all for £14.99 (I think)

    So its all good!

Dead easy, come with instructions. Remove the headlights with Rick's guide on this forum. You will need a hole saw for a drill as the Chinese kit doesn't come with a hole saw - this is to put a hole in the headlamp bulb cap and a grommet seals it with the new wires in it. The Turbo revs kit did - I think. It's all plug and play.

Not sure why Dancerdave removed the undertray
