I have just been unfortunate to hit a tree that someone kindly left in the middle of the road,in my new VW Golf 1.6Match.The branch went through the housing for the Front fog lamp(Nearside), but when I investigated the damage I cannot see how to remove the facia(?) that surrounds the Lamp, which appears to be undamaged.I need to see if whatever is behind this facia has been damaged and want to do it myself rather than take it to a garage.
Anybody help this non mechanical person??
    Thanks.

Do you think you might get a few more replies to your cry for help in the Golf sub-forum rather than this one????

Perhaps a kind mod will come along and move your post to a better home
