bora door open sensor

Hi

Does anyone know where exacltly on the drivers door of a bora is the sensor which causes the buzzer to sound if you have left your lights on? Mine is failing to do this intermittantly and I narrowed it down to a problem with the sensor becuase I also noticed that the door panel light (red) is not coming on either. This will happen every time the light buzzer does not sound (which is pretty much most of the time). If I come back to the car later and open the door, then it works again. Yey! as if you say "you left your lights on by the way..". Anyway, since it is likely to be a problem with the sensor and since it is intermittant, I suspect it may be some sort of mechanical fault with the sensor that could be fixed easily. I dont know how this door sensor works but maybe it gets stuck when then door closes on it and does not release then when its opened. Any help from someone who may know more about this sensor would be appreciated! Im really just trying to find out the mechanics of how it actually works.
