Hi the wifes got a november '05 1.9tdi touran and i wondered if i can get the mirrors to go down when the car is put in reverse without moving them, so that i can see the kerb. In my bmw x5 i have to leave in the right position, is this the case with the touran?

    cheers

    Will,

I am completely new to the forum and no expert on which parts can be swapped between different VAG models, but I was recently looking at the Golf & Touran brochures and noticed that whilst the Touran did not have a kerb dipping mirror option, the Golf did. I'm thinking it might be worth a chat with the dealer parts department to see if it can be retro-fitted? Perhaps one of the other forum members could chip in.

    Regards,

    Neil.
