    does anyone know what the following wheel code means

    4 x 8J x 18 ET43
    and will these wheels fit my audi a4 1999 avant (b5)

    supposedly these wheels came off a 2005 a4 avant s-line

    please help

    4 is the number of wheels
    8J is the width of the wheel
    18 is the diameter of the wheel
    ET43 is the offset of the wheel

    They'll bolt on fine, you may need spacers, you may not.

    What wheels do you have on there currently?

    mine are the original 1.8t sport wheels that came on the b5 avant

    7J x 16H2 ET45

    Pop one of your wheels off and check the back side of it, you're looking for an ET number and similar numbers to your first post.

    popped one of my wheels off and the ET number is 45, the wheels i want to put on are ET43, does it matter or make much difference?

    I thought the more recent audi's had a PCD of 112 Vs 100 /110 of the old is this no longer ?
