Do all B6 A4's have Xenons?

Hi,

All the B6 A4's I've been looking at so far appear to have Xenons (the lights are off in the adverts, so I can't tell for sure).. do all B6 A4's have Xenons as standard?

Irrespective; I've got my eye on a 2.5 TDI quattro sport.. are Xenons standard equipment on that car or is it possible it could have normal headlights?

Ok, I've realised that if the front bumper deosn't have cut-outs for the washer jets, then the car dosen't have Xenons, simple!

There are LOADS of adverts on Auto Trader where people claim that the car has Xenons, yet there are no washer-jet cut outs on the bumper.

I guess people just assume the projector lenses mean they have Xenons!

That's my take on it also. My car has standard projector lens lights. I find them perfectly ok.

My 1.9 tdi B6 just has the projector lenses..... however, I've just purchased an aftermarket 4300k xenon kit to fit next week....

Many people have retro-fitted xenons as the standard lights are commonly viewed as being poor. With good quality aftermarket xenon upgrade kits available from £80'ish plenty of people have done it. I'll be doing it too after xmas!!

BTW it is a against the law to have xenons fitted without headlamp washers so if you have a over zealous MOT tester he may fail it

A few years ago it was not law..
