I need to check some connections on my A6 to find out why the DIS isn't working on the instrument cluster. Can this be accessed by removing some of the under-dash trim? I'm used to working on older cars and the A6 is a mystery to me.

Also is there a site that gives tips on working on the A6 as Haynes doesn't seem to do a manual for the 1997> A6.

    Thanks

I put a few links on a thread not long ago - have a look through the pages.

Are you sure you haven't just accidently pressed the button under the right hand stalk which turns it off and on?...

Thanks, someone did mention that and I've tried pressing the button on the stalk but nothing happens. I thought I'd try disconnecting and reconnecting if possible before looking into getting a specialist to look at it.

I'll do a search for your previous posts.
