A4 2001 Speed Sensor Fault

If the engine speed sensor is faulty, the car won't run. Virtually the only one that doesn't have a default value. Maybe check the teeth and belt alignment

Ours wouldn't start properly when the engine was cold; eventually it would fire up and then work fine until it cooled down again. Do a Google search - I think the A4mods.com site details the problem and the solution.

When we fitted a new sensor, pinpointed by the fault code, the starting problem was cured.

Yes I think the same The fault has been there for months after changing the cam sensor the car starts no probs. If the cam belt has moved the engine
would not pull properly.
I am going to run vag com this weekend and post the results.
Can anyone give me a part number for the speed sensor I may get one from Euro parts.
