    Hi everyone,

After reading lots of very helpful threads on this forum I've decided to invest in a Parrot CK3000 Evolution Bluetooth kit for my new 1.9tdi s Passat Estate (brand new company car). I now think I'm confident that I know how to remove the stereo (without causing Airbag fault light problems) and have identified the correct adaptor kit. My next problem is how/ where to mount the mic. I have read that it is best to avoid the driver door piller (noise issue) and try and locate it between the int light and sun visor? Can anyone tell me how they did it ie best way to route cable etc. and give me any other usefull tips that I should bear in mind prior to dismantling the interior of my new car.

    Thanks in advance.

    Martin.

    Hi,

I've got a Parrot 3100 and, although I didn't fit it myself, I have the mic by the interior light and it works a treat there and everyone says how clear it is.

Hi James, thanks for the reply.

That was where I was planning on putting it but was wondering the best way to route the cable and exactly what trim will need to be removed to allow this. I once removed a car kit from a VW golf but had a nightmare when trying to remove the interior light. Don't what a repeat of that.

    Martin.

When i had my car kit fitted, the out it in the centre by the interior light, the cable it then tucked between the windscreen and the headlining. the plastic was then remove from the pillar and run inside into the dash are, where it was fished out behind the radio
