Hi, I have an A6 2.5 TDi 155 03 model. My query is the MAP sensor location.

Can someone tell me where the MAP sensor can be found on this model? I currently have it in to get fixed and they cant find it, they called Audi, who told them the location but they still cant find it. Any info would be welcome.

Mine's a 2002 (155), so there's a good chance it's in the same place.

It was plugged directly into the intercooler, behind the front valance. It means taking off the bottom of the front bodywork to access it, but it's less than an hour's job to do. Two pairs of hands are useful, unless you want the paintwork scratched.

There are at least 2, possibly 3 locations for the MAP sensor on this model, so don't blame me if yours is different!

just got a call from the garage and they have informed me that as it is such a big job, they will have to charge me another 2 hours for fitting the part...you can guess what my response was!
