Anyone know of a good place to take my Mk3 Golf TDi to in Plymouth? It probably only needs the Glow Plugs replaced. I'm new to the area and don't want to take it to a place where the guy starts sucking air through his teeth and shaking his head before he's even opened the bonnet.

    Any recommendations much appreciated.

It depends on exactly what you want done, if its just the glow plugs you want replacing then you could do it yourself or any garage could do the job. But if you want an B service or any other work done there is murrays main dealers in plymouth or there is mann eggerton main dealers in marsh barton Exeter, I know its a bit of a treck to Exeter from plymouth but a good friend of mine is a trained vw fitter and he works at mann eggerton in general they have a really good reputation in the SW and I have always had top class service and although its a main ******* garage the prices for simple services/genuine parts are quite compettitive but as always you get what you pay for.
