Let's talk about spam ...

The email type.

My personal email address isn't in the public domain (from what I can gather) so no spam bots can pick it up, and as a result I don't get any spam at all.

My VWAF email address is in the public domain. There are strict filters on the inbox yet still I get at least 10 a day.

My latest email, and the one that prompted this post, came from the future!

So, I just thought I'd let you all know that in 2010 spam will still exist.

A good way to help reduce it is don't open any dodgy emails.

If you use outkook make sure you turn off the reading pane, as leaving the reading pane on is as good as opening the email.

also, run spyware and malware removal software to clear any nasties out your system that may attract such emails.
