For those who may be interested, I am about to fit front fogs to my Mk5 Golf, and my local VW branch has given me a price of..wait for it...£780.00 supplied and fitted, though this could be more "if additional materials are needed". Do these people think we were born yesterday?! At first I was even told the job couldn't be done, some rubbish about there's no aftermarket kit or something (or they didn't want to do the job more like). How the hell do you justify a price like that!!!

Seems exspensive,the labour rate will be a large part of it.May i add the technicians hourly pay will only be about £10 so work it out for yourself where the moneys going as it certainly isnt going to the tech.
