    Default Sharan '05 tempomat install – 09-10-2025,01:21 PM
    Hello! I would like to install cruise control in my own car. I have installed the cruise control lever, I have already installed the cable that came with the lever. Can anyone help me find the connector where I need to connect the wires? The ECU is in the engine compartment above the battery. There is no black box under the windshield that contains the ECU. Thank you very much.

    The VIN number is WVWZZZ7MZ5V033745 This is a Sharan Special, a friend of mine had one with cruise control. So it's handled by the ECU.

    All drive by wire cruise control has been ECU controlled for decades. The VW kit 7M0 998 527 B is obsolete so I need to look at some more info at work.
