Hi micheal, there's a rely/fuse (says 30amp) at the bottom right of the relay board in the drivers footwell that I cant identify a use for but like I think I said I couldn't find any other applicable fuses although the Haynes book says 2 x 30a window fuses F37 and F43 under 'Fuses in different holders' also with F46 a 30a fuse for the electric seats. I tried removing the ones on top of the battery but they didn't seem correct as they had no effect on the windows. Any idea where the fuse you mention may be located?

Pictures from relay board in footwell.

Hello All I can say is that on the Audi 80 they are somewhere over your right knee behind a panel, about 1 inch by quarter aluminium cannister type
If you find them try operating the working one to see can you hear or feel the click

I will have a look to see can i see the one in my A3
