It needs to be equivalent to VW number 06A 133 062 AB so a Vemo V10-81-0004 is correct and OE quality, what is the problem?

That code J 338 35-10 is persistent at returning after being cleared

It is a car i bought as non runner and found it too thirsty when i did get it going ok for a short period

The Vemo unit was fitted by Irish garage for previous owner as effort at eliminating the problem without success
    Thanks

That code is partly nonsensical, what are you using? J338 is a throttle body identification code (called an SDC) and 35-10 a status but other than that, meaningless.

    Old outdated vcds
I read something like voltage related under voltage during basic settings

Discovered a pin in the throttle body unit had incorrectly entered the throttle body connector, damaging the socket part slightly

Next trial brought new codes and problems like misfires on 2 cylinders and fuel too low

It is working ok now for a short whille reasonably well

Car is not on road so only garden tests possible

    Thanks
