There should be an option in the Long Coding table to un tick hot bulb monitoring.

Thx for your reply but it’s not the hot bulb monitoring it’s the cold monitoring every time I start the car I’ve tried vcds but not able to switch cold monitoring off as there is no option to as 2010 was the year that changed grrr so annoying

I haven't got an 8P here to check but I know it does vary by BCM age. You could put a resistor to each on the black/red to the light unit. To determine the value (R), you need to know the current (I) a 382 bulb draws, theoretically the rated power (P) is 21 watts and the nominal voltage (V) is 12 volts (ideally check the voltage by back probing the incandescent bulb first) so Ohm's law V=IR is rearranged to give I=P/I gives you a nominal value of 1.75 amp and rearranging the formula to R=V/IR = 12/1.75=6.857. You need a resistor with a factor of safety of 2 so a 6.8 ohm 50w bolt down (to dissipate heat) resistor would be ideal. If it was for a constant use, I would also add some thermapath underneath to help dissipate heat.
