    2012 Passat 2.0TDI
    Under the car there is a (missing in photo) small plastic panel next to the Front Left Jacking point.
    It might be called a "VW Passat B7 Jack Pad Cover Left 3C0825271B"
    It held on by two screws and other trim.
    Part of it goes under the rounded side of an area of plastic (roughly square with a rounded side) which seems to plug into the steel bodywork above it.
    In the picture there is half of it missing.
    I'd be grateful if someone could tell me what it is called or what the part number for it is.

    I get it as 3C0 825 961 "bung" £3.96 retail inc.

    That looks like it.
    Left side seems to be 3C0825961 and right side 3C0825962
    I ended up repairing it, but aiming to have a new one ready.
