    Audi a4 b5 avant - ajm engine.

Digging in ETKA for a part number for the water temp retainng clip, I noticed on the diagram there was one in an hideous place on the bottom hose behind the radiator, the other behind the tandem pump. What I noticed in ETKA was one was bunged off, the one at the bottom.

Thing is, mine has two sensors, one in the bottom and one in the top; should I have two? both have the wires going to them; it's puzzled me.

    Thanks.

I found the solution, the one at the top goes to the ECU, the one at the bottom goes to the Gauge on the instrument cluster, why it's done like that on these cars, no idea.
