There are two variations of 01325

01325 - Control Module for Tire Pressure Monitoring (J502) : No or Incorrect Basic Setting / Adaptation

    01325 - Control Module for Tire Pressure Monitoring (J502) : No Signal/Communication

Yours has Pr-7K1 indirect wheel speed based TPMS, the direct system is a PITA.

    Thanks for the reply,

I checked the wiring to all the ABS sensor 3 were fine, the other sensor has a wire is partially exposed and the other has is cracked unknown if through to the copper (possible problem).

I have checked and adjusted the tyre pressure. Will see if that makes a difference.

Have a new plug for sensor and will use it to replace damaged wiring.

With this system I thought there was no module fitted for the TPMS. It was the ABS module which monitored the Tyres via the speed sensors ie their circumference.

Also could the ambient outside air temp sensor affect this system.

    Kenny

PS changed plug to sensor due to damaged wiring still lights on.

Yes, it is based on wheel speed from the ABS ECU, I can’t imagine the temp sender having an influence but it could be digitally linked to take into account air density changes.

Can it confirmed where TPMS is re my Audi ?

Is fitted in the ABS module itself or elsewhere?

I suspect a dodgy wire. So a relevant wiring diagram for my Audi would be helpful. I have a diagram for 2011 onwards but I feel something is missing.

    Thanks

It is a software routine in the ABS ECU, you need to study the wheel speeds in measuring blocks. Which fault codes are you getting now?

Still getting the same fault codes

1324 which is my awd module
1325 TPMS no signal / comms

I checked the fuses all fine, carried out continuity tests on front sensor wiring seemed fine.

But I need a full dry day to get to the ABS plug to measure the voltages and resistances over all the speed sensor wires.

Thinking back, we had this with a TT2 and a Gen4 Haldex, it was the Haldex ECU at fault, water damage. Yours could be Haldex 4 or 5, can you post a full car VCDS scan?

    Thanks Crasher,

Mine is gen 5, suspect water damage. It has not been working since I got the vehicle. Module number OAY 907 554J got this from the unit on the car dated 17/11/2014.

In ABS module on VCDS it has measurments, what does it cover ? I'm thinking about the magnetic strip on the wheel hub, could this be the problem ?

I'm going to drive the car with VCDS attached to measure the wheel speed sensors.

    Address 03: ABS Brakes (5N0 614 109 BA)

    17.0 km/h Speed Sensor Front Right (G45)
    17.0 km/h Speed Sensor Rear Left (G46)
    17.0 km/h Speed Sensor Rear Right (G44)

    77.0 km/h Speed Sensor Rear Left (G46)
    77.0 km/h Speed Sensor Rear Right (G44)

Live data I took today via measurement block, from this the wiring from sensors are working. So what is causing the warning lights to come on ?

    Any thoughts please,

    Kenny
