I am in the process of putting my 1997 a4 back on the road. There are a few parts that I need for this. The only place I can find some of them is audi Heritage in Germany. However after placing the order they told me that they don't deal with individuals. I would need to go through an audi dealer or independent garage that is vat registered and has AN EORI. 2 separate dealerships are telling me that they will not deal with Heritage despite them telling me otherwise. I don't know any garage that could do this for me so I am stuck now. Has any one else found a way of making purchases from Audi tradition?

As far as I can find out, we are the only company in the UK set up with Tradition, you do need an EORI number but also a DUNS number and VAT bonded system. The prices they show on their web site are nowhere near what I can get them to due to all the work involved. Worthy of note, they absolutely take your pants down on carriage, even a simple small part incurres a €50 p&p charge so I try and build orders up into bunches but as with the S2 I am doing, I come across unexpected requirements and ordering a €10 part that is stopping progress (a simple gasket) and you get stuffed for €50 carriage, it hurts.

Would you be able to order on my behalf. The order is around £550 so postage is not quite an issue. I just need someone who can deal with it as many items I need are excessive in the UK

What is your list? I have a couple of parts I need for the S2 so that would mean sharing the postage.

This is the quote that Audi Worcester did for me. I the last item is a condenser for the air con. On the tradition website it was only £30 but they have it priced at £361. If it is as much as that I can source it myself fromthe UK. I guess you will have to get a quote first anyway but I would be happy to pay the postage as it would be doing me a big favour.

Tradition are out of 8d0 807 300. ECS SAY they have them but at $5 each instead of 36p! I can't say exactly how much it will be until the invoice comes through in about two days at which point I have to pay them so will be asking you to call the office and pay us, do you want me to take the next step? From what I can guesstimate it should be less than the Audi quote and not just because of the missing nuts.

The nuts don't bother me as I can get some from the breakers or eBay. Just wanted to check that you have seen 2 springs. Yes go ahead with the order and I can pay as soon as you require.
