Q3 Reversing Camera stops working after heavy rain

Hi there,

The reversing camera on my RS Q3 (2016 8U) stops working after heavy rain. There's often a garbled picture (over saturated, pixelate) and then it cuts out and then goes to reversing aid only. Sometimes it won't come on at all when selecting reverse.

Wondering if there's water ingress somewhere? Where should I check? Or others I've seen is where the cable goes through to the boot it can flex over time and break.

After a few dry days it tends to start working normally again.

I'm very careful not to be pressure wash at the back when I wash it.


Rear washer jet is also not working? Not sure if this is connected - did think rear washer might be getting harness/connectors wet but I'm very careful not to use the rear washer (not a blocked nozzle, I've tried swapping it). Any help on this appreciated too

The washer jet fitting on the motor dribbles screen wash onto everything in there and it is high in salt which electrics don't like.
