    Hi, can anybody help.
My friend is stuck in a car park in portugal, he left his lights on and flattened the battery. Now it won't even open manualy with the Key.

Does anybody know the answer? I would like to know for future reference also!

He's in a hire car and thought he'd call me as his Portuguese is not so good!!

    Thanks.

Pull the plastic key out of the end of the ignition. Then remove the cover from the rear end of the door handle, it pops off if you gently pull it. Underneath there is a normal keyhole, insert the plastic key and turn.
